Brief
I am a writer at heart.
I wrote my first short story when I was 7 years old, and my love for putting pencil to paper followed me through years at San José State University, where I declared myself a Journalism major.
But as is the case with all first loves, I was curious about what else the world of communications had to offer. So shortly after graduating from SJSU, I entered the razzle-dazzle world of marketing. I was hooked from day one. The idea of making an unknown product or service into a household name sounded exciting, so I jumped in, head first.
Almost 2 years later, although I’ve shifted into advertising, the field still makes me feel like a kid in a candy store.
I’ve been asked, “Where will you be in ten years?” often over the years, and have always prepared an answer. But now, I think I’ll just sit back, relax, and see where life takes me. One thing’s for sure; I’m looking forward to finding out.

“Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.” — Albert Szent-Györgyi
You have come a long, long way since I had to track you down playing hide and seek at Dimond Recreation Center some many years ago! Congratulations on the Inauguration tickets. You’ve made a lot of people very proud! I’m looking forward to hearing all about your journey!
